4K TV SETUPS

THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT WHAT A NEW 4K TV LOOKS LIKE!  (above)

However, the new 4K TVs do look the exact same as any 720 or 1080 HD Flat Panel Television.  By looking at both, you cannot tell the difference.

The major difference between 1080 HD and 4K Ultra HD is located “under the hood”.  The 4K Television contains FOUR times as many pixels in it resolution than a 1080 HD TV contains.  And, it makes a HUGE difference while watching.

Also to mention, today’s 4K TVs feature HDR- High Dynamic Range which has to do with the color gamut.  Virtually any color can be re-produced thanks to HDR in a 4K TV.  What this does is make the picture image look even more real than it does without HDR on a 4K TV.  Amazingly real and true-to-life will the image appear.  UHD 4K TV

The days of analog and standard definition are far, far gone.  Thank God we are past this type of technology, if you want to call it that.  Today, we now have 4K Ultra High Definition (4K UHD) televisions available for sale.

You were given 5 easy steps on how to purchase your first 4K TV under “Recommended Setups”.  Now, we want to provide you actual 4K TV setup recommendations.

SEE:   RECOMMENDED SETUPS

As explained in past Posts, after years of research and comparison we elected to affiliate ourselves with Amazon.  The reasons are simple.  (1)  They offer the largest, greatest selection of 4K TVs and 4K Blu-ray players.  (2)  They offer the lowest prices available on the market.

Let Us Begin

*Note:  We are fully aware that technology changes basically every month.  Our job at 4KADVICE.COM is to keep up with these changes and present them to you.  With that said, the recommendations presented below will be updated as often as necessary to reflect newer models, newer versions, and newer prices.

We are going to break down our 4K UHD TV recommendations by size category.  This will be less confusing to you as a consumer.  Simply scroll down to the size of TV that you have decided on.  Or, compare prices to different size categories.  For example, the price increase to go from a 40 inch TV to a 55 inch TV might be justified in your mind.  This is the type of information that we provide to you so that you make informed decisions.

Four TV Display Size Categories:

32 Inches & Under

There are NOT any 4K UHD Televisions produced under 40 inches.  This is because of the 4K Ultra High Definition technology that allows the manufacturers to squeeze four pixels into the size of ONE 1080HD pixel.  For this to be able to happen, the designers needed a minimum display size of 40 inches or higher.

However, you can find PC monitors that are 4K UHD in sizes under 32 inches.  For, purposes of 4K televisions this just is not the case.

You would not want your 4K UHD TV to be smaler than 40 inches anyway.  The larger for 4K, the better picture image.

  1. This post is a great place to start if you are new in the game of shopping for a 4K TV. These are the basic new 4K TVs and sizes.

They say that the larger the 4K display size the better the picture image. Good Luck

  2. WE STARTED WITH A SONY 4K 65-INCH 4K UHD TV BOUGHT IN 2014.

But, it does NOT have HDR which is disappointing. Today, no one needs to worry about not having HDR because it comes standard in ALL new 4K TVs now.

I will upgrade to another 4K TV with HDR soon. Good Luck Shopping!
